Hi there!
I’m Catherine Greer. A few years ago, around age 50, I had a revelation: I wanted to be more comfortable in my own skin. I wanted to age in a way that was authentic to me. It felt like the role models out there were somehow ‘not me.’
So I looked around for inspiration.
There were the actors and models who work so hard to look 30 forever — and they look great. (Cindy Crawford, Nicole Kidman, Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts — they’re all my age!)
There were zany ladies, with spiky hair and huge glasses and funky wardrobes. (Iris Apfel. Outrageously gorgeous.)
And then there was me.
I really couldn’t see a role model that looked like — or seemed like — me.
Where were those women?
I’ve loved all the stages of my life. Personally, I didn’t want to feel pressured to look like I was still 30, even though so many women tell me that looking younger is critical to their careers. But I also wasn’t about to transform my conservative style into Funky Older Woman. So where did that leave me?
Somewhere in the middle. Authentic to myself. I chose to let my hair go grey, slowly, and have never looked back. For me, it was a revealing of who I am now, older.
That’s how Love Our Age was born.
Love Our Age is about loving ourselves at EVERY age.
It’s not about whether you choose to go grey. It’s about finding what works for you now. Loving your life. Choosing to be authentically you.

(Shhhhh….there’s a book coming soon — stay tuned!)
Thank you for being here.
